Frank Badur

BIOGRAPHY

Frank Badur Biography

Frank Badur’s drawings exist as an active engagement between modernist art history and contemporary thought. The resulting “geometrical abstractions” reflect the influences of international constructivism and American color field painting. Recent exhibitions include a solo presentation of his work at the Saarland Museum (Saarbrücken, Germany) and in group exhibitions at the Mildred Lane Kemper Museum (St. Louis, MI), Zimmerli Art Museum (New Brunswick, NJ), and the National Museum (Berlin, Germany.) Artworks by Frank Badur are included in numerous public collections nationally and internationally including the Museum of Modern Art (New York, NY), the Museum of Fine Arts (Houston, TX), Yale University Art Gallery (New Haven, CT), and the Museum für Konkrete Kunst (Ingolstadt, Germany.)
